I think that they make super #17 too powerful anybody else agree?

Yeah, they most certainly overpowered him. Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Hellsing, Elfen Lied, Trigun Maximum	They try to make a claim that No. 17 was some huge amazing project of Gero and that because No. 17 was a hooligan Gero had to drop his power down 200,000,000x from its usual level and in reality, No. 17's potential is somehow stronger Gohan's potential and by fusing and some crap, No. 17's true almighty savior and lord potential is released and some bull*** like that.

Except nothing indicated that he trained and we don't even know if he does know how to effectively train. The whole thing is just asking for too much suspended disbelief. That's why I just don't think about the plot for that part to actually enjoy it

It was nice to see it in action I have to agree, one of the things I liked about GT was that it picked up on some plot concepts Toriyama forgot about as time went on. As far as him being overpowered, I agree it doesn't make a ton of sense for him to achieve the level that he does, but it was necessary for the plot. GT was in a bad spot from the beginning after the insane levels everyone reached at the end of Z, I don't think there' s a way they could have done it without creating broken power chains, and definitely in the case of Hell Fighter 17.
